I genuinely like the design of this bar but we had out staff christmas party runied here last night by security who were constantly harassing us saying they'll throw us out for 'dancing like drunks' when we were far from it. First time here and wouldn't go back,have to pay after 11 apparently.
We had an okay night there,music was poor and the staff were okay,albeit a bit pushy for an older age group who come here. we were told in no uncertain terms o move out and obey the orders of the bouncers, okay tolerate if your young but the slightly more aged of us can get affended by this - LOUISE, MALLOW - Dec 4, 2010

the dj on saturday has always been a woman,so id disregard the last review,there is no place comes close to the bodega on the weekends,its female friendly,

Was out with a group of girls last weekend at a charity fashion show , decided to go for one drink before going home and decided to go to the Bodega as it was newly re-opened again. They were charging 12 at the door so mentioned to my friend it would be an expensive last call ! Door men were rude and main bouncer childish when he would not leave me to collect a gift from a friend who did decide to pay 12. just home from a nite in the bodega. horredous experience. bar staff too busy dancing around the place trying to look cool. took 16 mins to get a glass of water. believe me i know because i was so bored waiting i kept lookin at my watch . unbelievable and so rude. hope to never go there again - breda, ireland - Nov 8, 2008
