What a friendly and clean irish pub..the food is as good as a 4 star hotel...myself and my wife had a ball there over our weekend in Ireland...we are already planning to bring out relations there in the new year...the music which was an irish folk band on friday night followed by a dj playing some excellent middle of the road music...and the guinness is super...their smoking area called the Tabacco Shop is fresh and clean ...and no smoke...thank you for making our weekend in Ireland so special.. - sam and kylie, wales - Oct 19, 2010

was here 29th July 2010 for Battle of the Bands, Guinness Session. Lovely Pub, All Ages, Staff are friendly (specially Blonde Barmaid, Mairead I Think!) Toilets very clean. We were heading to kilkenny for a good time with our friend who was having a second stag or is it he's 3rd...we heard about this pup from our local in Cardiff...so we went on thursday for food...excellent and a very good price aswell..the place is just right for a sing song and the music and band were brill...we stayed for the weekend and were so well looked after..the manager Shay is a gentleman... taxi service was excellent and helpful...some athmosphere for the rugby...we will be back...fab irish pub. - Thomas,Trevor,Jimmy jnr, Wales - May 26, 2009

My partner and i stopped off in this lovely historic city of kilkenny...the parking is not easy but as we strolled through the city we found this "Gem" of a pub...it was warm and cosy even though its a big place and straight away we felt at home...the food menu looked fab so we had lunch which was served by a lassie with a wonderful smile...our irish coffee was a bit slow but the place was really busy...the prices are good so that night we called again that night...and again the place was buzzing...the dj was really helpful and was playing all the classic hits.... we would have stayed all night except we had an early start...but we will be back to kilkenny and to Matt the Miller's - sandra and Quintan, wales - Feb 29, 2008

As a regular, i'll recommend this as the best in town. Let you be in a group or by yourself, you'll always be made feel welcome by the management (brendan and John) staff.
