| Silver Sands is located mid way around the Ring of Kerry. Our Hostel rests with a sea front view. We are a new hostel that bring back the good old days style. Its a friendly place with a great atmosphere. Our facilities include, darts, wide selection of board games for the young and old. We have musical instruments on hand for those who have that itch to give it a go! We also have a cafe for those who's cooking skills need a bit of a rest. We serve Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner. Sleeping accommodation for up to 28 guests. We have new double rooms and family rooms available. By the end of May 2011 we will have a new addition and be able to add an aditional 30 guests. We also have , Wi-fi, laundry, and self catering kitchens. Local area includes, * 2 village shops which provide most necessities. * Several excellent Cafe's and Bar's * 2 Local golf courses within 20 minutes walk * Fishing by river , lake , or Sea. * Kayaking, climbing, horse riding, personal secret places we would enjoy sharing. The beach directly in front of the hostel. To the left of the bay is some fantastic surfing spots, to the right of the bay lie several long sandy strands perfect for a walk. |

We do our best to keep our Hostel clean, since we have a cafe on site, it is a must that we do so. Just remember as a hosteler you also must do your part and clean up after yourself to keep our prices low. |
