Situated in Aghadoe on the Ring of Kerry road, adjacent to the national park, this An Óige Youth Hostel is an impressive 18th century mansion on 77 acres of beautiful gardens and forests. Commanding spectacular views over the mountains and lakes of Killarney, Aghadoe House is fully equipped with modern facilities whilst maintaining the charm and character of an historic building in peaceful surroundings.

On arrival a warm welcome awaits you from the friendly and knowledgeable staff who can advise you on all trips and activities available either locally and nationally.

Take the Killorglin bus from Killarney and get off at Fossa Cross 6km from town.In summer there is a free bus from the bus station to the hostel to the Youth Hostel. By Car, bike or foot, the Youth Hostel is three miles from killarney on the Killorglin road.(turn right at the orange public house in fossa ) From Dublin Aiprport to Fossa: At Airport Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M1 (signposted Dublin). Leave the M1 at junction 3, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the M50 (signposted M50 Southbound).
