| We are situated in the village of Waterville (The Little Whirlpool) famous for its Golf, Fishing and blue flag beaches. At O'Grady's Townhouse we offer luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. On arrival we greet our guests with complimentary tea/coffey and home baking. We have 6 charming en-suite bedrooms with t.v., tea/coffey making facilities, hairdryer, clock radio and toiletries.WiFi internet access throughout. Skellig Michael-Unesco World heritage site: This is the finest example of an early Christian monastic settlement dating back to the 6th or 7th century. The monastic enclosure consists of six beehive-shaped huts, two oratories and a church - a visit is a must.The smaller island is home to thousands of gannets, puffins, guillemots and cormorants.Trips arranged. Other activities include horse riding, sea sports, walking the Kerry Way. There are numerous archaeological sites to be visited - Church Island on Lough Currane and the Loher Ring Fort are two of the most notable. |
